SWPA Committees
Committees provide a way for members to take an active role in the association. If you are a current SWPA member, and are interested in joining an active committee, please click on the to the right: I would like info on joining a SWPA committee!
Horizontal Rule

Executive Committee

  • Committee will conduct SWPA business between meetings of the Board of Directors
  • Comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the immediate Past President

Rules Committee

  • Comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the immediate Past President
  • Proposed business that affects the Articles or by-laws will be referred to the committee for report
  • The committee will be appointed by the President

Marketing Committee

  • Committee will work closely with the Membership committee to develop materials necessary for the good of the Association
  • The committee will be appointed by the President

Nominating Committee

  • Committee will conduct SWPA business between meetings of the Board of Directors
  • Comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the immediate Past President

Membership Committee

  • Committee will conduct an ongoing campaign to solicit new members from eligible individuals and organizations
  • The committee will be chaired by the Past President

Conference Committee

  • Committee will be responsible for all matters related to the annual conference and other annual events
  • The Chairman of the Conference Committee will be the Vice President
